Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 33 stocks were trading in the green, while 17 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 223.02 points up at 80471.1 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Shivansh Finserve(down 16.15 per cent), Aki India(down 10.00 per cent), Ellora Trading Ltd.(down 9.34 per cent), Sharda Ispat(down 8.47 per cent) and Global Longlife Hosp(down 6.70 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 33 stocks traded in the green, while 17 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 63.86 points at 24339.9.

On the BSE, Aki India, Alliance Int., Ind-Swift Labs, Mitshi India and Sanwaria Consumer hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Banaras Beads, Choksi Imaging, Delton Cables, NTPC Green Energy and Raghuvir Synthetics touched their fresh 52-week highs.
