Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 48 stocks were trading in the green, while 2 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1291.95 points up at 80409.06 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Olympic Cards(down 18.94 per cent), Novateor Research(down 18.82 per cent), Nova Pub(down 18.28 per cent), AVI Polymers Ltd.(down 15.04 per cent) and Parker Agrochem(down 14.53 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 48 stocks traded in the green, while 2 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 421.91 points at 24329.15.

On the BSE, Astron Paper & Board, Trijal Inds., BLS Infotech, Mudunuru and JP Associates hit their fresh 52-week lows, while BDH Industries, Anand Rayons, Megri Soft, Next Mediaworks and Vimta Labs touched their fresh 52-week highs.
