Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 169.71 points up at 79665.86 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Shri Balaji Valve Co(down 12.02 per cent), Dutron Polymers(down 11.74 per cent), JITF Infralogistics(down 11.03 per cent), Sujala Trading(down 10.95 per cent) and Auro Labs(down 10.00 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 25 stocks traded in the green, while 25 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 49.16 points at 24190.45.
On the BSE, Caprolactam Chem, Electronics Mart Ind, Taylormade Renewable, Akums Drugs & Pharma and India Gelatine hit their fresh 52-week lows, while VTM Ltd, Dynamic Ind, Bajaj Steel, Tera Software and IGC Industries touched their fresh 52-week highs.
