Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks were trading in the green, while 22 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 300.58 points up at 79777.21 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Intnl Comb Ltd(down 16.20 per cent), Gabriel Pet Straps(down 12.33 per cent), Clarus Infra(down 11.86 per cent), Maan Aluminium(down 9.98 per cent) and India Finsec(down 9.16 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks traded in the green, while 22 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 98.55 points at 24311.85.

On the BSE, Raymond Lifestyle L, MT Educare, Rajnish Wellness, Ceigall India and Ola Electric Mobilit hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Omansh Enterprises, Jenburkt Pharma, Hindustan Hardy, Kiran Vyapar and Dhoot Ind touched their fresh 52-week highs.
