Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 169.77 points up at 81321.04 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Otco Intnl(down 17.28 per cent), Abans Enterprises (down 11.88 per cent), Shelter Infra(down 11.36 per cent), Vardhman Hold(down 10.90 per cent) and Authum Investment(down 10.05 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks traded in the green, while 22 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 42.36 points up at 24823.45.
On the BSE, SRU Steels, Galactico Corporate, PNC Infratech, Toyam Industries and Garuda Construction hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Mohite Industries, Diffusion Engineers, Shree Rajiv Lochan Oil Extraction Ltd., Omega Ag-Seeds and Tainwala Chem touched their fresh 52-week highs.
