Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 16 stocks were trading in the green, while 34 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 42.26 points up at 81267.01 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, PNC Infratech(down 19.99 per cent), Tanvi Foods(India)(down 18.29 per cent), Shree Pacetronix(down 16.66 per cent), IndiaMART(down 14.95 per cent) and Saptak Chem(down 12.90 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 16 stocks traded in the green, while 34 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 29.96 points down at 24824.1.

On the BSE, Shree Pacetronix, RBL Bank, SRU Steels, Trijal Inds. and Kamdhenu Ventures hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Shivamshree Businesses, GFL Ltd., Pilani Invest, Simmonds Marshall and Morgan Ventures touched their fresh 52-week highs.
