Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks were trading in the green, while 12 stocks were trading in the red.

Nifty moved in a tight range of 82 points, and ended slightly below the psychologically crucial level of 15,700.
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 555.04 points up at 82189.85 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Naapbooks Ltd.(down 15.23 per cent), SM Auto(down 11.98 per cent), Adeshwar Meditex(down 11.45 per cent), Parker Agrochem(down 10.96 per cent) and Apoorva Leasing Finance(down 9.78 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks traded in the green, while 12 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 199.65 points up at 25212.8.

On the BSE, Sylph Tech, SRU Steels, MEP Infrastructure, A F Enterprises(PP)and Starline Precious hit their fresh 52-week lows, while VCK Cap Market, Sambhaav Media, Hawa Engineers, India Steel Work and Keynote Financial touched their fresh 52-week highs.
