Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 100.38 points up at 85028.99 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Sheshadri Industries(down 9.59 per cent), Parker Agrochem(down 9.52 per cent), V B Desai(down 9.44 per cent), Shelter Infra(down 9.00 per cent) and Ashram Online(down 8.31 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 25 stocks traded in the green, while 25 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 29.21 points up at 25968.25.

On the BSE, Fusion Micro Finance, Rossell India, Stampede Cap(DVR), Sanwaria Consumer and PS IT Infra hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Shah Alloys, Regency Investments, Ambar Protein Ind, Sarthak Ind and GeeCee Ventures touched their fresh 52-week highs.
