Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 46 stocks were trading in the green, while 4 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 986.19 points up at 84170.99 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Rossell India(down 73.30 per cent), Veer Global Infraconstruction(down 17.80 per cent), Fraser & Company(down 11.07 per cent), Modern Steels(down 9.99 per cent) and Dr Habeebullah(down 9.75 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 46 stocks traded in the green, while 4 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 287.0 points up at 25702.8.

On the BSE, Rossell India, Mahalaxmi Fabric Mil, Lakhotia Poly, Stampede Cap(DVR)and Niyogin Fintech hit their fresh 52-week lows, while KJMC Financial, Makers Labs, Arihants Sec, Nyssa Corporation and Sterling Tools touched their fresh 52-week highs.
