Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 34 stocks were trading in the green, while 16 stocks were trading in the red.

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 234.25 points up at 81757.41 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Ganon Products(down 9.96 per cent), Kiran Syntex(down 9.63 per cent), Saptak Chem(down 8.30 per cent), VCK Cap Market(down 7.76 per cent) and Granules India(down 7.29 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 34 stocks traded in the green, while 16 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 87.25 points up at 25005.7.

On the BSE, VCK Cap Market, Classic Filaments, Intellivate Cap, Starlit Power Sys. and Future Supply Chain hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Shalimar Wires, Premier Poly, Sonal Mercantile, Veeram Securities and Archidply Decor touched their fresh 52-week highs.
