Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks were trading in the green, while 12 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 213.29 points up at 82347.9 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Inventure Grwth(down 19.80 per cent), Indo Asia Fin(down 10.53 per cent), Octavius Plantations(down 10.37 per cent), Parker Agrochem(down 10.00 per cent) and Indian Toners(down 9.06 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks traded in the green, while 12 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 71.75 points up at 25223.7.

On the BSE, Mahalaxmi Fabric Mil, Globale Tessile, Poddar Housing, Sprayking Agro Equip and Saraswati Saree Depo hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Prime Property, Enterprise Intnl, Jainex Aamcol, Sanco Trans and CIL Securities touched their fresh 52-week highs.
