Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 25 stocks were trading in the green, while 25 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 294.1 points up at 81626.82 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Karnimata Cold Store(down 19.08 per cent), Superior Ind(down 10.00 per cent), Mega Nirman & Ind(down 9.90 per cent), Omni Axs Software (down 9.72 per cent) and Superior Finlease(down 9.21 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 25 stocks traded in the green, while 25 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 88.0 points up at 24922.85.

On the BSE, Spandana Sphoorty, Morarjee Text, Mayukh Dealtrade, Brightcom Group and Vitesse Agro hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Perfect Octave, VMS Industries, Comfort Intech, Robust Hotels and Vishnu Prakash R Punglia touched their fresh 52-week highs.
