Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 95.5 points up at 79992.84 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Tanvi Foods(India)(down 9.29 per cent), Stellar Capital Svcs(down 8.77 per cent), Mallcom(India)(down 7.32 per cent), Alliance Int.(down 6.82 per cent) and Unitech Intnl(down 6.76 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 27 stocks traded in the green, while 23 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 56.4 points up at 24372.35.
On the BSE, SecUR Credentials, JP Associates, VSF Projects(PP), PS IT Infra and Grandma Trading hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Oceanic Foods, Inducto Steel, Dhabriya Polywood, Career Point and HPL Electric Power touched their fresh 52-week highs.
