Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 24 stocks were trading in the green, while 26 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 217.9 points up at 73204.93 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Varyaa Creations(down 20.00 per cent), Nutech Global(down 18.56 per cent), ETT Ltd(down 9.99 per cent), LGB Forge(down 9.92 per cent) and Goldcoin Health Fds.(down 9.30 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 24 stocks traded in the green, while 26 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 48.0 points up at 22248.55.

On the BSE, Brightcom Group, Spectrum Foods(PP), Sharanam Infra, Karda Const and Shree Securities hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Bombay Cycle, B&A Ltd, Kirloskar Bros., Kirloskar Ind and Haryana Leather touched their fresh 52-week highs.
