Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks were trading in the green, while 20 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 54.69 points up at 72830.82 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Relic Techn(down 15.30 per cent), CMI FPE(down 14.59 per cent), Ramgopal Poly(down 10.00 per cent), Ashirwad Steels(down 9.12 per cent) and Vishal Bearings Ltd.(down 8.71 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks traded in the green, while 20 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 40.3 points up at 22144.35.

On the BSE, Medico Remedies, Sylph Tech, Sharanam Infra, Prism Medico and BLS E-Services hit their fresh 52-week lows, while HG Infra Engg, United Interact, RR Financial, Stovec Ind and Unjha Form touched their fresh 52-week highs.
