Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks were trading in the green, while 20 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 193.02 points up at 73841.64 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Supershakti Metaliks(down 13.04 per cent), Clariant Chem(down 12.35 per cent), Atharv Enterpr(down 12.08 per cent), Fraser & Company(down 10.43 per cent) and Peeti Sec(down 9.98 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks traded in the green, while 20 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 54.3 points up at 22390.7.

On the BSE, Atal Realtech, MEP Infrastructure, U H Zaveri, Kakatiya Text and Shalimar Prod hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Informed Tech, Tejas Networks, Smartlink Holdings, Jaysynth Dyes and Cochin Shipyard touched their fresh 52-week highs.
