Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 44 stocks were trading in the green, while 6 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 377.61 points up at 73465.94 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, GSPL(down 19.99 per cent), Mayur Floorings(down 9.94 per cent), Devine Impex(down 9.89 per cent), Quantum Build-Tech(down 9.79 per cent) and Kiran Syntex(down 9.79 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 44 stocks traded in the green, while 6 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 135.8 points up at 22282.8.

On the BSE, MEP Infrastructure, CMI Ltd, Starcom Info, Sumeet Ind and Integrated Hitech Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Jaysynth Dyes, Perfectpac Ltd, Multibase India, Hindustan Motor and Premier Exp touched their fresh 52-week highs.
