Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 39.52 points up at 72983.2 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Kiran Syntex(down 10.88 per cent), Deco-Mica Ltd(down 9.99 per cent), Pankaj Polymers(down 9.85 per cent), Kumbhat Financia(down 9.65 per cent) and Carnation Ind(down 9.59 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 33 stocks traded in the green, while 17 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 37.8 points up at 22185.7.

On the BSE, Riddhi Corp. Service, MEP Infrastructure, Shalimar Prod, FutureLifestyleFash and Aruna Hotels hit their fresh 52-week lows, while AAA Technologies, Cranex Ltd, High Energy Batt, TPL Plastech and Dynacons Sys touched their fresh 52-week highs.
