Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks were trading in the green, while 15 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 291.79 points up at 75034.29 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Trivikrama Ind(down 20.00 per cent), Janus Corporation(down 13.00 per cent), Kiran Syntex(down 12.71 per cent), FGP Ltd(down 10.00 per cent) and Abhishek Infraventur(down 9.98 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks traded in the green, while 15 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 79.3 points up at 22745.6.

On the BSE, Yarn Syndicate(PP), SRM Contractors, Yarn Syndicate and Gopal Snacks hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Morgan Ventures, Premier Exp, High Energy Batt, Jindal Hotels and Jyoti Ltd touched their fresh 52-week highs.
