Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks were trading in the green, while 15 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 238.45 points up at 71310.94 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Euphoria Infotech(I(down 19.98 per cent), Veer Global Infracon(down 19.85 per cent), Manoj Vaibhav Gems N(down 16.15 per cent), Rishabh Instruments(down 15.14 per cent) and Hindalco(down 14.29 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks traded in the green, while 15 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 48.16 points up at 21664.2.

On the BSE, PayTM, Flair Writing Indust, Punjab Alkalies, Ambar Protein Indust and Sanmit Infra hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Saraswati Comm, Odyssey Corp, Nivaka Fashions, Stanrose Mafat and SilverpointInfra touched their fresh 52-week highs.
