Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 782.23 points up at 72427.53 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, PayTM(down 19.99 per cent), TCFC Finance(down 10.21 per cent), Shree Ganesh Reme(down 10.07 per cent), Atreya Petro(down 9.75 per cent) and Shyam Telecom(down 9.72 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 45 stocks traded in the green, while 5 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 243.85 points up at 21941.3.

On the BSE, PayTM, Best Agrolife, Vedant Fashions, Tata Technologies and Ambar Protein Indust hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Garment Mantra Life, Valson Ind, Kitex Garments, NBCC and BPL Ltd touched their fresh 52-week highs.
