Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks were trading in the green, while 22 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 659.68 points up at 72380.86 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Sanmit Infra(down 9.98 per cent), Sadhna Broadcast(down 9.91 per cent), Ramchandra Leasing(down 9.62 per cent), Jetmall Spices(down 9.56 per cent) and Plastiblend Ind(down 8.73 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks traded in the green, while 22 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 184.46 points up at 21831.65.

On the BSE, Sanmit Infra, M K Proteins, Ashnisha Industries, Stampede Cap(DVR)and Raj Rayon hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Jupiter Infomed, CNI Research, Zuari Agro Chem, Infibeam Avenues and AGI Infra Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs.
