Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks were trading in the green, while 20 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 100.56 points up at 71948.13 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, VMV Holidays Ltd.(down 18.65 per cent), Adishakti Loha(down 11.64 per cent), Creative Eye(down 10.00 per cent), Hindoostan Mill(down 6.58 per cent) and Waa Solar(down 6.36 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks traded in the green, while 20 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 24.46 points up at 21683.05.

On the BSE, Raj Rayon, Redex Protech, Adhbhut Infrastructu and IFL Enterprises hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Lee Nee Soft, Regent Enterprises, Swasti Vinayaka, Vidli Restaurants Lt and Zeal Aqua touched their fresh 52-week highs.
