Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 44 stocks were trading in the green, while 6 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 279.21 points up at 71144.31 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Madhusudan Sec(down 10.00 per cent), Chandra Bhagat Pharm(down 9.94 per cent), Amanaya Ventures(down 9.93 per cent), Maruti Interior Prod(down 8.54 per cent) and Droneacharya Aerial(down 6.65 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 44 stocks traded in the green, while 6 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 100.3 points up at 21355.35.

On the BSE, Adhbhut Infrastructu, Raj Rayon, SEL Manufact, Paushak Ltd and Shivalik Rasayan hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Prudential Sugar, Starteck Finance, Machino Plastic, Shree Hari Chem and Sangam(India)touched their fresh 52-week highs.
