Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 382.98 points up at 70897.18 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, City Pulse Multiplex(down 14.92 per cent), SVS Ventures(down 8.04 per cent), Veerkrupa Jewellers(down 6.34 per cent), Kama Holdings(down 6.34 per cent) and Modipon Ltd(down 6.15 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 41 stocks traded in the green, while 9 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 103.45 points up at 21286.15.
On the BSE, IFL Enterprises, Eastcoast Steel, SEL Manufact, Raj Rayon and Gala Global Prod hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Times Guaranty, Smart Finsec L, Oriental Trimex, IL&FS Invest and Tera Software touched their fresh 52-week highs.
