Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 42 stocks were trading in the green, while 8 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 557.87 points up at 65491.74 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Promax Power(down 20.00 per cent), Retina Paints(down 19.12 per cent), DRA Consultants(down 14.45 per cent), Transvoy Logistics(down 13.41 per cent) and Innokaiz India(down 11.87 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 42 stocks traded in the green, while 8 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 176.0 points up at 19619.55.

On the BSE, Rajesh Exports, Prabhat Tech, Ritesh Intnl, Compuage Infocom and Onesource Ideas Ven hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Modern Steels, Protean eGov Techno, Gabriel India, Moneyboxx Finance and Sreeleather touched their fresh 52-week highs.
