Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 22 stocks were trading in the green, while 28 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 33.04 points up at 65008.65 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Swelect Energy(down 15.75 per cent), Best Agrolife(down 12.82 per cent), Baschem Pharma Ltd.(down 10.64 per cent), Cian Healthcare(down 10.06 per cent) and Athena Constructions(down 9.97 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 22 stocks traded in the green, while 28 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 1.2 points up at 19444.7.

On the BSE, Prabhat Tech, Navkar Builders, Compuage Infocom, Honasa Consumer and IndiaNivesh Ltd hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Majestic Auto, GeeCee Ventures, Jaysynth Dyes, TCFC Finance and Ador Fontech touched their fresh 52-week highs.
