Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks were trading in the green, while 24 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 329.85 points up at 64112.65 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Alacrity Sec(down 17.79 per cent), Lakshmi Electr(down 14.80 per cent), Jetmall Spices(down 12.50 per cent), M&M Financial(down 11.48 per cent) and Vimta Labs(down 10.38 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks traded in the green, while 24 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 93.65 points up at 19140.9.

On the BSE, Max Estates, Taaza International, IFL Enterprises, 7NR Retail Ltd. and Supreme Holdings & hit their fresh 52-week lows, while ASI Industries, Maan Aluminium, Plaza Wires, Indo Asia Fin and Tai Industries touched their fresh 52-week highs.
