Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 40 stocks were trading in the green, while 8 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 304.61 points up at 65817.0 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Jindal Leasefin(down 9.91 per cent), Indo Us Bio-Tech(down 9.32 per cent), Dhampur Bio Organics(down 8.59 per cent), Gennex Labs(down 7.40 per cent) and Asit C Mehta(down 6.56 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 40 stocks traded in the green, while 8 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 90.4 points up at 19602.75.

On the BSE, National Perox, Themis Medicare, SVP Global, Gujarat Themis and Shalimar Prod hit their fresh 52-week lows, while N K Industries, Avantel, PVP Ventures Ltd., Rajasthan Tube and Clarus Infra touched their fresh 52-week highs.
