Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks were trading in the green, while 15 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 246.04 points up at 67765.04 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Focus Business Sol(down 20.00 per cent), EPIC Energy(down 12.65 per cent), Shyam Telecom(down 9.29 per cent), Market Creators(down 8.09 per cent) and Greycells Edu(down 7.71 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks traded in the green, while 15 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 73.4 points up at 20176.5.

On the BSE, Hypersoft Technolog., Toyam Industries, Bansisons Tea, Navkar Builders and Ratnaveer Precision hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Kahan Packaging, SRG Housing Fin, Dhanlaxmi Bank, HT Media and Rane(Madras)touched their fresh 52-week highs.
