Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 202.94 points up at 67669.93 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Shiva Granito Export(down 19.95 per cent), Bajaj Elec.(down 10.22 per cent), SMIFS Capital(down 10.00 per cent), Gretex Corporate Ser(down 9.05 per cent) and Athena Global Techn(down 8.47 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 44 stocks traded in the green, while 6 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 88.95 points up at 20158.95.

On the BSE, Ratnaveer Precision, GCM Sec, A F Enterprises, Earum Pharmaceutical and Shalimar Prod hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Bombay Dyeing, Dalmia Bharat, Zodiac JRD MKJ, Creative Casting and Vamshi Rubber touched their fresh 52-week highs.
