Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 37 stocks were trading in the green, while 13 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 172.27 points up at 65003.68 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Escorp Asset Manage(down 10.00 per cent), Sun Retail(down 9.68 per cent), Perfect Octave(down 8.42 per cent), Atal Realtech(down 7.94 per cent) and Jonjua Overseas(down 7.49 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 37 stocks traded in the green, while 13 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 75.05 points up at 19328.85.

On the BSE, FutureLifestyleFash, A F Enterprises, Aanchal Ispat, Pyramid Technoplast and Bhaskar Agro hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Skipper Ltd, Adarsh Plant, Times Guaranty, ITD Cementation and Modern Shares touched their fresh 52-week highs.
