Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks were trading in the green, while 20 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 81.54 points up at 66609.21 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Cargotrans Maritime(down 18.24 per cent), Aanchal Ispat(down 9.99 per cent), Econo Trade(I)(down 8.59 per cent), Allied Digital(down 7.50 per cent) and Transvoy Logistics(down 7.46 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks traded in the green, while 20 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 20.85 points up at 19774.65.

On the BSE, Cressanda Sol(PP), 52 Weeks Entertainm, Disha Resources, Setubandhan Infra and Radhagobind Commerci hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Accel Transmatic, Orient Green Pwr, Cranex Ltd, Basant Agro Tech and Niks Technology touched their fresh 52-week highs.
