Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks were trading in the green, while 21 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 226.11 points up at 65506.56 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Alacrity Sec(down 20.00 per cent), Dhyaani Tile and Mar(down 9.82 per cent), Goblin India(down 8.48 per cent), Shree Karthik(down 8.24 per cent) and Jayant Infratech(down 8.23 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks traded in the green, while 21 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 68.95 points up at 19400.75.

On the BSE, Bizotic Commercial, Sanwaria Consumer, MRC Exim, Ind-Agiv Comm and Starcom Info hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Cyient DLM Ltd., Olectra Greentech, Kriti Ind, Refex Industries and Shree Global touched their fresh 52-week highs.
