Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 34 stocks were trading in the green, while 16 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 47.26 points up at 63275.77 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Prospect Commodities(down 17.81 per cent), CLIO Infotech(down 13.41 per cent), Dr. Lalchandani Labs(down 10.00 per cent), Angel Fibers(down 9.96 per cent) and MAC Hotels(down 9.95 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 34 stocks traded in the green, while 16 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 28.5 points up at 18784.4.

On the BSE, Milgrey Finance, GHCL Textiles, Vivanza Biosciences, Sintex Plastics Tech and Shelter Infra hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Kaycee Ind, Wires Fabrics, U Y Fincorp, Essar Shipping and Chembond Chem touched their fresh 52-week highs.
