Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 11.81 points up at 62440.35 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Edelweiss Financial(down 37.87 per cent), Humming Bird Educat(down 10.00 per cent), Cospower Engg (down 10.00 per cent), Ashiana Ispat(down 8.08 per cent) and Filtra Consultants &(down 7.97 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks traded in the green, while 19 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 6.75 points up at 18494.5.
On the BSE, Edelweiss Financial, Power & Instrument, City Online Serv., Blue Coast Hotel and Sintex Plastics Tech hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Hardwyn India, Nicco Park Res, Ddev Plastiks Indust, Master Trust and Cyient touched their fresh 52-week highs.
