Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 214.21 points up at 61978.46 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Apar Industries(down 15.53 per cent), Sterling Tools(down 12.78 per cent), Alacrity Sec(down 11.29 per cent), Jumbo Bags(down 11.09 per cent) and Aartech Solonics(down 9.99 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 40 stocks traded in the green, while 10 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 65.1 points up at 18329.5.
On the BSE, Wardwizard Innov, TCNS Clothing, Salem Erode Invest, Avalon Technologies and Paisalo Digital hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Mankind Pharma, Jai Balaji Inds, Duncan Engineering, Dr. Agarwals Eye H and U H Zaveri touched their fresh 52-week highs.
