Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1306.96 points down at 55669.03 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, ICL Organic Dairy(down 20.00 per cent), Varroc Engg.(down 19.90 per cent), Sujala Trading(down 19.53 per cent), Evans Electric(down 18.18 per cent) and Future Market(down 17.75 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 5 stocks closed in the green, while 45 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 391.5 points down at 16677.6.

On the BSE, Future Market, Karda Const, Rollatainers Ltd, Uma Exports Ltd. and Arnold Holdings hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Starteck Finance, Ishita Drugs, Samor Reality Ltd., Shilchar Tech and Shish Industries touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
