Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 398.13 points down at 81523.16 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Prakash Inds.(down 12.24 per cent), V R Films & Studios(down 12.02 per cent), Tanvi Foods(India)(down 10.71 per cent), Raghuvansh Agrofarm(down 10.00 per cent) and Kansal Fibres(down 9.98 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 12 stocks closed in the green, while 38 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 122.65 points down at 24918.45.
On the BSE, Globale Tessile, Alpine Housing, Andhra Paper, Intellivate Cap and Revathi Equipment hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Archidply Decor, Karnavati Finance, Veeram Securities, Hind Aluminium and Suraj Ltd touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
