Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

In the Nifty pack, 23 stocks closed in the green, while 27 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 117.58 points down at 72987.03 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Varyaa Creations(down 19.99 per cent), ETT Ltd(down 10.00 per cent), Indag Rubber(down 9.50 per cent), Gconnect Logitech(down 9.46 per cent) and ITCONS E-Solutions(down 9.20 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 23 stocks closed in the green, while 27 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 17.3 points down at 22200.55.

On the BSE, Deccan Health Care, Spectrum Foods(PP), Ganon Products, Sharanam Infra and Butterfly Gandhi hit their fresh 52-week lows, while B&A Ltd, Sika Interplant, Kirloskar Bros., Kirloskar Pneumatic and Unjha Form touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
