Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

In the Nifty pack, 19 stocks closed in the green, while 31 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 27.09 points down at 73876.82 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Konndor Industries(down 9.49 per cent), Dipna Pharmachem(down 8.63 per cent), Innocorp Ltd(down 6.44 per cent), Shri Balaji Valve Co(down 6.22 per cent) and Sonal Mercantile(down 5.68 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

The index closed 18.65 points down at 22434.65.

On the BSE, IEL Ltd., VCK Cap Market, Garbi Finvest, Tejnaksh Healthcare and Gopal Snacks hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Viceroy Hotels, J G Chemicals, Goa Carbons, Mitsu Chem Plast(PP)and Suraj Ltd touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
