NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 371.83 points down at 61560.64 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Duncan Engineering (down 13.81 per cent), PM Telelinks(down 11.67 per cent), DJ Mediaprint & Logi(down 10.89 per cent), ACE Software(down 10.00 per cent) and Adeshwar Meditex(down 9.98 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 14 stocks closed in the green, while 35 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 104.75 points down at 18181.75.
On the BSE, Standard Shoe Sole, Ashiana Agro, Apt Packaging Ltd., Cindrella Fin and Radhe Deve hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Retina Paints, Labelkraft Technolog, Transvoy Logistics, Shree Steel Wire and Kaynes Technology In touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
