NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 326.23 points down at 58962.12 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Misquita Engineering(down 16.60 per cent), Veer Global Infracon(down 15.70 per cent), Venlon Enterpr(down 14.05 per cent), Indo-City Info(down 13.14 per cent) and Rishi Techtex(down 11.11 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 0 stocks closed in the green, while 0 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 88.75 points down at 17303.95.

On the BSE, Rishi Techtex, Share India Sec, DMR Hydroengineering & Infrastructure Ltd., Krebs Biochem and Vedant Asset Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Foseco India, Tulsyan NEC Ltd., Sprayking Agro Equip, Triveni Turbine and Binani Ind touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
