NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 388.2 points down at 58576.37 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, NEO Infracon(down 18.01 per cent), Regency Investments(down 12.23 per cent), Enterprise Intnl(down 10.00 per cent), Arcee Ind(down 10.00 per cent) and Gian Life Care(down 10.00 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 10 stocks closed in the green, while 40 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 144.65 points down at 17530.3.
On the BSE, Milestone Furniture, Tilak Ventures (PP), Supreme Infra, Brandbucket Media & Technology Ltd. and Prabhat Tech hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Pecos Hotels & Pubs, Nagreeka Export, Dharamsi Morarji, GRSE and Sakuma Exports touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
