Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks closed in the green, while 22 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 110.64 points down at 73903.91 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Decorous Investme(down 12.05 per cent), Dhanashree Electro(down 9.37 per cent), Natura Hue Chem(down 8.63 per cent), Maruti Interior Prod(down 8.08 per cent) and Sam Industries(down 7.87 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks closed in the green, while 22 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 8.71 points down at 22453.3.

On the BSE, IEL Ltd., Midwest Gold, Satra Prop., Kanel Ind and Garbi Finvest hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Sri Adhikari, B&A Ltd, Gemstone Invst, Rishi Techtex and Meghmani Finechem touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
