NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 78.22 points down at 65945.47 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Earthstahl & Alloys(down 13.60 per cent), EKI Energy Services(down 10.00 per cent), Promax Power(down 10.00 per cent), JCT Ltd(down 9.81 per cent) and Alkosign Ltd.(down 8.77 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

The index closed 9.85 points down at 19664.7.
On the BSE, Cressanda Sol(PP), Innovatus Entertain, Kahan Packaging, Bheema Cements Ltd. and Mehta Housing hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Winsome Yarns, Lakshmi Auto, Informed Tech, Shreyas Ship and Airan Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
