Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

In the Nifty pack, 15 stocks closed in the green, while 35 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 501.73 points down at 58909.35 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Jonjua Overseas(down 13.40 per cent), Goldcoin Health Fds.(down 12.02 per cent), FGP Ltd(down 10.03 per cent), EPIC Energy(down 10.00 per cent) and United Van Der(down 9.78 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 15 stocks closed in the green, while 35 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 129.0 points down at 17321.9.

On the BSE, North Eastern, Arex Industries, Vaarad Ventures, R&B Denims and DAPS Advertising Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Fervent Syn, Uni Abex Alloy, Suryalata Spin, Bhartia Bachat and Remedium Lifecare touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
