NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1416.3 points down at 52792.23 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Garment Mantra Life(down 14.00 per cent), Agarwal Corp(down 12.41 per cent), Martin Burn(down 10.92 per cent), Pasupati Acrylon(down 10.76 per cent) and PrismxGlobalVent(down 10.61 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 3 stocks closed in the green, while 47 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 430.9 points down at 15809.4.
On the BSE, Garment Mantra Life, Manappuram Finance, Lincoln Pharma, Niyogin Fintech and Lupin hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Nava Bharat Vent., Rose Merc. Ltd., Mewar Hi-Tech Engine, Roto Pumps and Mehta Housing touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
