NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 2702.15 points down at 54529.91 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Gayatri Project(down 19.92 per cent), Yug Decor(down 19.83 per cent), Titaanium Ten Enterp(down 19.74 per cent), Leading Leasing Fin(down 19.08 per cent) and Jaysynth Dyes(down 18.40 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 0 stocks closed in the green, while 50 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 815.3 points down at 16247.95.
On the BSE, Gayatri Project, Leading Leasing Fin, Safa Systems & Technologies Ltd., Retro Green Revoluti and Veto Switchgear hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Decillion Finance, Shelter Infra, Shree Salasar, Salem Erode Invest and PurshottamInvst touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
