Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

In the Nifty pack, 22 stocks closed in the green, while 27 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 12.17 points down at 57794.32 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Atam Valves(down 16.18 per cent), Mercantile Ventures(down 9.82 per cent), RBL Bank(down 9.63 per cent), Dharani Finance(down 9.21 per cent) and Tarapur Trans(down 8.57 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 22 stocks closed in the green, while 27 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 9.65 points down at 17203.95.

On the BSE, RBL Bank, Markolines Traffic Controls Ltd., IITL Projects, Valiant Comm and Fino Payments Bank Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Escorp Asset Manage, Aimco Pesticide, Loyal Equipments Ltd, Virat Crane and Bharat Bhushan touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
